RE: Presently, I'm Watching the Debate!
Very well said BB. I was bored watching the debate. McCain didn't look at Obama once during the debate which surprised me, if you remember during the debates before, he always looked at them and got in their faces, so to speak. I hope the next debate brings out the "true" nature of the both of them. McCain did not impress me at all this time, he needs to focus on what he plans to do in office and not what Reagan, Eisenhower and whoever did or said before. The past is the past let's move on...I want to HEAR what either one of these candidates are going to do to FIX this ecomony, what they plan to do with this War, what they will do with the Healthcare system/Social Security and etc...stop the BS and start convincing me who will be the better person to represent our country!

RE: Presently, I'm Watching the Debate!
I actually thought that Obama held his own very well. McCain kept saying that Obama didn't understand, but Obama did understand all too well and made sure that he got right back in there and disputed McCains statements. I also noted the fact that McCain refused any eye contact with Obama, which is a sad thing to see. And his smiling was way too condescending. It just wasn't necessary.
I think that Obama also showed that he has a firm grip of foreign policy as well, which everyone always said he fell short on. I am looking forward to seeing the vice-presidents debate. I am interested to see what Palin will come up with....I really want to see her without a pre-written script. What is sad is that whoever wins is going to have a huge problem with the financial situation that neigther of them pretty much expected. I am glad that they were both invited to the White House to discuss this issue of Bail Out. |
