9/11 Tribute - We Will Never Forget
[Image: Tribute.jpg]

Shortly after the 9/11 attacks, we came across a beautifully done tribute to the victims of that terrible day. We published it on our site, where it was seen by thousands of people over the weeks following.

Every year we re-post that tribute to the victims of 9/11, as a way of saying, "We Will Never Forget". We have been working today to get the files ready, and will be launching it first thing in the morning. I thought I would give you an advanced peak at it, if you wish. Make sure your speakers are on...

Thank you.

RE: 9/11 Tribute - We Will Never Forget
This is a reminder that bring tears every time I hear it, I will never forget those that we lost, as I had friends at the towers and my son and his friend were to go to DC but were ill that day. I took care of some of the injuried as I was working in both Dover Delware and A burn unit in PA.

May God send his angels to hold you in his arms

RE: 9/11 Tribute - We Will Never Forget
I remember that day as I was driving to work I listened to news about the attacks.

I worked as a Kindergarten classroom teacher that day. As we took the children to the playground that day we kept an eye to the sky. I could see the stress on the parent's face as they came to pickup their children that day.

RE: 9/11 Tribute - We Will Never Forget
I was on vacation in Dorr County in Wisconsin, waiting for a Ferry, My neighbor and I were having breakfast at a small out of the way restaurant, At the counter were two Paramedics, We watched the TV as the horrable tragedy unfolded, we watched as the planes hit and the towers came down, We were in shock. I cried and hugged the two young men in there blue firefighter uniforms, Two men I never even knew there names, but at that time and that day we were all Americans sharing the Tragedy together. God Bless them everyone and May we as a nation never forget.. Thank you ADMIN.

RE: 9/11 Tribute - We Will Never Forget
I was waving at President Bush, as he drove by in his motorcade on the way to Booker Elementary here in Sarasota. I stood and chatted with friends for a few minutes afterwards, and as I was getting in my car my wife phoned me to tell me two planes had hit the WTC. Odd - it just dawned on me that my new office overlooks that intersection. Hadn't thought of that before.

RE: 9/11 Tribute - We Will Never Forget
I live in NH and was working in Ma. at the hospital I worked at for 14 yrs. I was doing pre-testing for surgical patients. There was a tv in my waiting room and I heard one patient shouting that a plane hit the world trade center. Everyone from the surgical floor came into the waiting room and watched the news. Some said the pilot must of been drunk etc. and then the second one hit. Then we knew the US was under attack.

Many loved ones that I worked with were in the planes that were flying out of Boston that day. Brother in law, sister etc. Even one of the doctors family members was on one of the planes. It was a day I will never forget. Being so close to Boston, seemed alot of people I knew were related to someone in NY or on a flight from Boston that day. It still brings chills up my spine to even think of it. May they all rest in peace. I think the memorial is a wonderful thing and hope to see it next time I am at Logan airport in Boston.

Thank you Admin for the wonderful tribute.

RE: 9/11 Tribute - We Will Never Forget
Thank you admin. This has been on my mind all day. Our neighborhood puts up flags today to honor those we lost from our neighborhood today. As the flags went up from one end of our street to the other, the tears rolled down my face. I can't imagine the horror of those people in the towers attempting to make decisions about where to go ... up or down and how to get down with the elevators out of service, the number of cell phone calls to their families to say good bye and so forth. It is a horror I do hope that this country will never exprierience again.

For me, on that day, I took the morning off for a neurology appontment at the VAMC. My appointment was at 0830. I just arrived to the clinic when I looked at the TV in the waiting room with everyone there looking straight at it. I asked them, isn't that NY, what is on fire? The first tower had been hit and was on the fire. When I asked if they knew how, they said no one knows..maybe a missile. Then suddenly as I was standing in the doorway, something was flying low..someone said here comes another missile... and someone else said no, it is a plane. When I looked up again...it was a plane... and it crashed right into the second tower. My heart immedicately thought about all the people on that plane and how could this happen. At the time I thought it was from Kennedy Airport in NYC. Then within minutes from there the first tower and then the second because to crumble. I will never forget that sight. After my appointment I tried to leave to go to work and found out that we were all locked in. All the government facilities were on high alert. Around 3 pm, Del and I could leave and I returned to my job. I was working at Temple at that time as the Director of Nursing. When I got there so many people were so upset and waiting to see me. Most had come to tell me that a friend another co worker Nurse would not be there the next day due to loved ones who were in the castle and lost. I spent that entire night attempting to staff my a four building that 630 residents resided in. Requardless of what was happening in American, my residents would still need the care the following day and teh rest of that day. Then the next morning I went home to find that my son had left that night to overseas...the gulf with his airplane. He was gone for 6 months after that time. The war had not began yet, but he was oever doing something he has never explained to me about. He had just been married the month before, so his wife remained in our home with us.

This was a day of nightmares for so many Americans and I hope that none of us never forget that day. My heart crys of the horror that those American's experienced. We all must always remember that it wasn't those American's specifically that was targeted, it was ALL Americans, which includes all of us. When I heard that a plane also flew in the Navy section of the Pentagon it strike home completely. If my dream sheet had been fulfilled interms of positions or billets as we call job positions I would have been reassigned to the Pentagon on August of that year which means I would have been in that section somewhere. None of us is safe as long as people want to murder us because we are Americans. Many will give their lives to just that as happened on that day. God bless you all and keep you safe from harms way. Love Red
