RE: Released from PT...Not sure what to do
When I had my PT/ OT for 7 months , 4 days a week, I was scheduled with the same person the whole time. Never once did I ever have anyone else stand in for them. I worked around their schedule and had to go back n forth to different hospitals where they worked. If one of my therapist was in one hospital building, the same day I would go across the street to my next appointment with the other therapist. This way I always had the same one.

It was a great program that I went to. And by doing this, I felt the therapist knew me very well and was able to write a good report on how I progressed.

carpal tunnel recurrence/ neuropathy / RSD.
1/29/07 injury date. Permanent. PIR settlement 8/4/08 10%

RE: Released from PT...Not sure what to do
MJC...thanks so much. It's so nice to hear from you. It's been a long time. God bless and hope you are well.Smile

Sparkey..problem is this is a facility that doesn't move around. I made an appointment with the girl I always saw and the facility changed it. On top of that I was only doing Aquatic PT for my lumbar and they repeatedly checked all 5 injured body parts that the Judge accepted although I wasn't doing PT on any of them. Plus the Aquatic PT had no say in anything. She noticed a difference in how I walked after a while (for the better) but the girl who did the last eval and released me has a problem with the aquatic PT. I know there was something else behind this. I have to do some checking but I believe the facility I went to for my neck (when my own inusrance was paying for everything) also does aquatic PT with a licensed Pt at our Y 2 days a week . I will check this out. Sadly I have been to so many different facilityies because of either insurance (mostly) or PT's that were so intimidated by 5 body parts. Some have gotten much worse because of spending too much tim eon one part and ignoring the rest. I have an Impairment Rating scheduled for the end of this month. Settlement talks are going on. Not that any of this helps me. Once settled I will be on my own with no medical . I almost didn't start the Neurontin because once settled I won't be able to take it. Stupid,it;s all stupid. Off and on care is driving me and my body crazy. I have had off and on care for 2 1/2 years now. Can't take much more.
