payment short
I am living in Hawaii, and I'm supposed to recieve two thirds of my normal wage, but I'm only getting half. I talked to the adjuster, but I get the run around. Should I fax an old pay stub, try to talk to him again, or talk to somone else? This is new to me, and I just want enough to live. Thank you

RE: payment short
2/3 yep you should but does your state have a cap on WC payments....in Arkansas the cap was 360 dollars a week my honey made over a 1000 a week but all he could get was 360 a week the rest was forfetted

;)Workmans comp is not a road you want to travel alone. You need a good lawyer,a great family and good friends to lean on.If you make it thru without losing everything you have worked for all your life, you have come out ahead of the game.....Smile

"You may also appeal to this Division or on the neighbor-island, the Department of Labor and Industrial Relations District Office nearest you if you disagree with the amount of benefits paid you by your employer or the TDI insurance carrier. Bring evidence such as pay slips or check stubs to prove you are entitled to more benefits. This Division will notify you of the time and place of the appeal hearing. An impartial referee will hear your case."

RE: payment short
if you can prove how much more you'd be making now you might get your rate upgraded for permanent disability benefits.
