RE: What work can you do, after the injury??
This looks like a site, that can help a person apply their past work, and past work skills, into it, to obtain a Skill Match from your current work knowledge to now a new model frame work of work that would now fit into your restricted level.
I had done this before, but is was available through my State. I had performed the task with a Supervisor there, and my Voc rehab lady there. After it was all done, my skills and restrictions printed out, there are no available employment positions for me. The supervisor then also told my Voc rehab lady she wasting her time tring to find me work or employment. I will say, I do like this also for younger people though, so they can find out, how flexable in the work field they truely can be. Reply's are intended solely for informational purposes. I did find there is also one thing missing in this site, it may allow one to do a skills match, but it doesn't have the proper applicattions in it to apply ones retriction, so it won't cross refference a good job skill match for disabaled or restricted working able people.

RE: What work can you do, after the injury??
Good site. I did notice on the first page that it had a place to click on about job accomadations for if you have a medical problem or disability, what accomadations could be applied. When I clicked on this, it showed several links for disabled jobs and so-forth. I saved it to my fav. so I can check back when I'm thinking clearer.

Vickinat, yes I had seen that too. What I meant was, the one I used for a Job and Skills Match was you applied all prior jobs, current and past skills, and even skills you have not used at work, then the next page was, you listed your restrictions, and I do think the area that was injured. It then takes all your information, skills match to now fit the type work you can now do, with little training. I thought it was a great program, but it was my State Employment/Unemploment Agency that offered it for free. Once you done that, you be amazed to how you find the fact that one can be will verse if the work field. t spit mine out, as Non-workable, because there were no jobs listed that could fit my restrictions Vs Skills.
