update/ and prayer request
Enjoying new job, but still very tired and increase in pain level. Have found times that I can't do things as not enough grip strength. But will keep trying.
Went to pain doctor Monday to start pain study medication, He ordered labs and took history. Then today his office called and said I can't do the study as Kidney function was not good, also said x-ray shows shoulder frozen again, arthritis in shoulder, hip and knee. Also said there is sign that the pain is from the RSD. Please pray that they will find away to help the pain and keep the hip and knee working. He then informed me that my AIC was also elevated. What more can go wrong with this body. Sure would like to get on with my life, even if I have to deal with the pain. May God send his angels to hold you in his arms |

ahhhh sweetie I know you want and need to work,but please be careful and dont do more damage
;)Workmans comp is not a road you want to travel alone.You need a good lawyer,a great family and good friends to lean on.If you make it thru without losing everything you have worked for all your life,you have come out ahead of the game.....

Prayers are still continuing for you. I was hoping that this new job wouldn't cause you any addition pain. I hope you get to feeling better soon sweety. Feel free to give me a call if you want to talk.

Ask for a Q Stat or Qstart test to test for RSD.

Rn, Hang in there, You are a Tough One, and You will get through Somehow!! But My Prayers are still on their Way!!
Failed Back Surgery, Chronic Pain, Totally Disabled. Knowledge is Power, Especially in the World of w/c. Learn as Much as You can about Your States w/c Laws, and don't Fight Battles alone, They Use Attorney's, and so Should You!! |

So sorry to hear Vic. I know what you deal with everyday trying to work and live a productive life. It is very difficult for me also and fight to keep working 40 hours a week. My hand/ shoulder is so painful even with very strong meds. Hang in there and hopefully you go to PM monthly to control your pain level.
BB? What is a Qstart test? My PM doctor now thinks I do have RSD after my last appointment when she saw my arm. carpal tunnel recurrence/ neuropathy / RSD. 1/29/07 injury date. Permanent. PIR settlement 8/4/08 10% |
