Nurse complaints about physical therapy session

RE: Nurse complaints about physical therapy session
Bummer, bummer, remember a older post, when I told you of my knee in PT? When I said they will only treat the one Total knee replacement one, when I did complain of my other knee becoming streesed out? They told me, they can only treat me for the one knee? But to be real, they could have simply allowed me to work on both.

Your therapist is doing this to you in a way. They are refusing to listen to your other body parts that are also giving you problems. When you said they were upset when you told theem of the nerve pain.

I told you before I didn't like this therapist, and the way of treatment they were giving you. I was hoping you would of been sent elsewhere for better treatment. Hopefully you doctor will understand, and send you somewhere else.

Bad Boy

You did call it right!

The RN that is reporting this to administration also told me I need to find another PT facility.

My ortho surgeon has an out-patient physical therapy facility as part of his practice. This therapy center specializes in join replacement rehab and has a therapy pool.
I am thinking about having physical therapy at this facility.

Course this is if my current physical therapist feels I need to continue in physical therapy.

The therapist wasn't happy either when I told her my other knee has been giving out for a month now.

Bummer, I would in my opinion, go to the place, and visit their Administrator, tell them what has been going on, and refuse anymore abuse. Ask them to over ride the decision from the therapist for futher PT, and write a letter stating you should continue, but elsewhere. That is my best opinion.

As I told you before, the muscles need to be stretched first, the knee strecthed by laying on your stomack, and leg hanging over the table, then PT shoulder stretch the Ham String muscle, and help you build that up, then the calf muscles need building up, but upper leg muscles need the most building up, before the knee will do what it is meant to do now.

RE: Nurse complaints about physical therapy session
Physical therapy did an eval today to make the decision whether I should continue with therapy.

Here are the numbers for being 7 weeks out of surgery:
Strength 4
Flexion - (forced) 102 - (By myself) 95
Extension - (forced) minus 2 (By myself) minus 5

It has been decided I qualify for one more week of physical therapy and that will put me at 8 weeks out from surgery.

I plan to go to administation after my physical therapy is finished.

Bad Boy, I believe you mentioned belonging to a health club and doing your therapy there, how is that going.

I am thinking of joining the YMCA and to continue working on my PT goals there.

I go to a place called Xsports. It works great for me, since I know what I needed to do for therapy. The cost is only about a dollar a day. We surely spend more than a dollar a day on something we don't need, so I applied that to a dollar a day I can use.

Looks like a great place, I see BBBB in the hot tub with the cutie ROFL.

Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass.
It's about learning to dance in the rain.
