Can you trust them???
I talked to my workmans comp adjuster today and asked if I need to fill out another injury report and he said no they were going off the orginal report. Can I believe this is true?????
He then told me he sent on my claim to the review board. How can they deny a claim when the doctor says it is work related?????

RE: Can you trust them???
oh they will find ways to say it's not work related - but I still say you need to notify your employer in writing just to cover your butt.

RE: Can you trust them???
They tried to claim that My injury was pre-existing from a Month earlier from at Home even after the Doctor said I could not have been walking let alone working from this injury.
No! The only one you can trust is yourself.
I hope you have a Attorney to protect you.

RE: Can you trust them???
Hi Risingeagle,

Not sure how much this will help in the long run, but you need to document every phone conversation that has anything to do with WC. Write down the date, time, person you spoke with (first and last names) and the conversation so that you have everything documented. i'm not sure if this would help in a court decision or not, but if nothing else it will help jog your memory down the line when you might need it the most. Sorry this wasn't the info you needed, but I don't know the answer for you... Sad

Take care,

RE: Can you trust them???
Hi Eagle! It sounds to me like things are starting to get a little sticky with your claim. I would strongly suggest you retain a w/c certified attorney to help you through this. This system is very complicated, and it's very easy to get lost in. Please don't do as so many others have done and wait until it's too late to have an attorney be able to help you. I've been at this for a while, and have seen soo many people leave money on the table by not having counsel. Please consider protecting yourself with an attorney, it's the best move I ever made!! Best of Luck!!Wink

P.S.- If this system was so easy and safe, the Employer wouldn't have an attorney, but you can bet your bottom dollar they do, and if need be they will use them against you!!

RE: Can you trust them???
They will deny anything they possibly can. They denied mine without having drs reports. Even though I had it on video, and a store full of witnesses who saw me get hurt. They still denied it.
