ooooo I am so angry!
So I just talked to my nurse from workers comp and she just rudly, pushingly, informed me that I have had disk problems before (I have NOT, but she is holding to it) and my specialist is apparantly completly stupid because she is looked at my MRI and my disks are not hurniated, they are agrivated because they have been hurt before. What and total errrrrrrr can't say what I am thinking, really bad thoughts. I just love it how those nurses think their amazingly less amount of school than a specialist can allow them to diagnose and read MRI's and tell doctors, specialists at that what to do. Then, she tells me my doctor should have had me back at work full time no problem a long time ago. Just who does she think she is!!!!!! She talked over me, she she tried to push me around, she tried to tell me the rreason the pharmacy wouldn't fill my perscriptions is because they wouldn't give them to me and not because of them. However, I haven't had a problem til now and the pharmacy said worker's comp took my info out of the system. However, apparantly, the managers of the four pharmacys are just plain stupid too, because apparantly it is their fault. Now, she is calling my doctor to tell him it isn't hurniated and to send me back full time. Let's just forget my leg pain and how it hurts every step I take and how my spine is too flat in a certain area and how I can't even do my exercises because of my leg and feet pain that shoots down from my back. How are we suppossed to deal with nurses like that? Ugh!!! Well, thanks for listening....

Hurt- time to lawyer up. If you don't have a w/c lawyer it is time to start talking to a few. Check them out and ask alot of questions before signing anything. Sounds like w/c ic is going to start playing games with you.

May God send his angels to hold you in his arms

RE: ooooo I am so angry!
Nah, they started way long ago when I was supposed to sign a form basicaly saying in lots of fancy terms that I was hurt outside of work and had to go on unpaid leave. I have a lawyer, but she was with another client when I called and couldn't talk to her. I had to talk to someone. Thanks for responding. It is all so exhausting.

Nurse case managers........mmmmm you remember that fat mean little bully in kindergarden that no one wanted to play with?the one that picked her nose and ate it!!!!!!!!! she grew up to be a WC nurse case manager......I am sure of it.....

;)Workmans comp is not a road you want to travel alone. You need a good lawyer,a great family and good friends to lean on.If you make it thru without losing everything you have worked for all your life, you have come out ahead of the game.....Smile

RE: ooooo I am so angry!
What state are you in?? I'm in Pa. and the first thing that my lawyer did was to disallow a nurse case manager. I was originally lied to by the adjuster who said that I had to cooperate with the NCM. In Pa. you don't have to have one. Ask your lawyer about removing her authorization and also about requesting a second opinion on your MRI results.
Wish you well.

RE: ooooo I am so angry!
Hurt they just did that to me also. They stopped my meds the 23rd when I went to fill them due to the IME report that the doctor said I did not need medication and that the cymbalta I do not need also because my depression could not of possibly come from my work injury.LOL I did not have depression before when I was working.

I luckily have insurance that I used and kept the reciepts also. I will hopefully get reimbursed for them in the end now that my doctor diagnosed me with RSD and I will be getting a lawyer as soon as I hear from the court what the labor board decided about my rating. I would think my rating would be higher now with RSD as opposed to the neuropath I was diagnosed with before court. Thank god i have my pm doctor on my side and she cannot stand wc. Do what BB said and get a second opinion. You need to have another doctor to back you up.

carpal tunnel recurrence/ neuropathy / RSD.
1/29/07 injury date. Permanent. PIR settlement 8/4/08 10%

Hurt

Tell your attorney you do not want any contact from the case manager.

Before I lawyered up I had a case manager, she convinced the doctor to put me at MMI and the time I had great difficulty walking. I contacted the case manager told her the problems I was having and she told me, "So".

I got smart and hired an attorney.

In my state the wc case manager will not contact you if you have an attorney.

HH...I agree with the rest. It is definitely time to have some you can lean on that knows this system and how to get the case manager nurse out of case. Red

RE: ooooo I am so angry!
yep....NO MORE conversing with the NCM ! She's full of sh** and is trying to bull doze you. I am also surprised she would talk to you, because you do have a lawyer. Let the lawyer handle her crap and earn his keep!
Good Luck, LillySmile

RE: ooooo I am so angry!
Although there are Some Good NCM's out there, most just want You back to Work at any Cost! My Suggestion would be to Speak with Your Attorney, and have All Correspondence from the NCM go through Them!! When I did that My Attorney put the NCM through so Much Red Tape and Hassle, that the i/c Stopped Sending them!! Be Very Vigilant with Your Attorney that You Need something done about this NCM, and Hopefully they can Make them go Away!! Good Luck!!Wink
