back injury/sexual harrassment

I am in maryland. at the hospital they did x-rays and said all looked good but it is swollen from the top of my back to the bottom on the left side. i am very stiff, and to sit down on the toilet I have to hold on to the sink. They said it should be fine in a couple days and it doesn't seem like it to me. Monday i am gonna get a laywer and get back to the drs. i am afraid if their is something wrong the longer i wait the more damage i could cause. oh yes he is a pervert!!! the girl that is living with him has cried to me because i do not know the whole story but she just got out of prison and she needed help, some drug addict girl use to go up in his office and i can only imagine what happened, and she ripped him off for lots of money he had in his desk, deserves him right for using someones problems to benefit hisself. omg he is so fat and disgusting! I try not judge people, I have done things I am not proud of but so far he said whenever i get a drs. note saying i can come back to work i can, an elderly gentleman there had already informed me first excuse he will be firing me. my dog had to have surgery it costs me every penny I had they had to remove her hip socket, and he saw me crying and hugged me and then says oh my them to bumps sure felt good! wth a PIG he did a background on me and i had been a dancer when I was younger, and arrested for something) but why should i continually be insulted like this for my past. i was in easyrider and in ami for motorcycle school and the teacher called me to stay after class and put my hand on his thing! I am so angry i try not to be petty but enough is enough. I just want to get well!!!!!!!!!! I need to find a sit down female job. I have down sheet metal work, plumbing, wrenching, laying brick etc. I am 44 and my body cannot do it anymore, even though my brain says i can. The hospital said I could come back on light duty and he refuses. he wants another dr to say i can come back. I quess since he did not have his way he is being nasty. but i am trying to find a class to retrain me in the clerical feild, while i am out. Sorry for rambling the dr has me on 2 pain meds and valium for muscle relaxing, he said valium is the stringest muscle relazer. but darn i am so sleepy to rattling on! i feel like i am crazy! Thank everyone for Your opinions, highly appreciated. My husband left me for a younger girl last year and it just seems like everything is going bad. one thing after another. I am getting very tired and i do not know how much more i can take!!! and if i try top get him for sexual harrassment it is gonna be very hard to prove with my past and no witnesses. I basically just want to be treated fairly and get whatever if anything i am entitled to. I was told wc will pay me for the time i am off, I have never done this before so i know nothing about this but iam standing, (sitting up) for myself for know on!!! My family lives out of state and I have no one to help me, all my friends stood by my husband because he is president of a motorcycle club. I do not know how I am gonna take my trash out, cut my grass or anything. My doggy is helping me though! lol She is the only joy in my life right now! Even sitting at the computr after an hour I start hurting. But i am learning microsoft works so i cannot reenter the clerical workfield when this is done. someone said sue him but for what? I need info!!! I am making a list of questions to ask the laywer. I have health ins. what is gonna happen to that if i am not working how can i pay my part? will he have too? I am just gonna rest, keep praying and I believe eveything will eventually workout for the best!

your WC case and sexual harrasment case are 2 different cases one does not disprove or prove the other.......A talk with a law firm that deals with both may be in order

still in pain, I think I am gonna loose my mind from pain alone! I just told the secretary this where i work before they cancel my ins, Thanks i am waiting to here back from my lawyer. This is suppose to be getting better but it is not!!!!!!!! Getting very irrataited. I can handle pain for a couple days but I am getting tired of this pain....not a good patient! lol thanks again and anything else You can find out please let me know. i hope my lawyer calls back soon! any special questions i should ask him? Damn these meds, which I hate! are very confusing to my little brain! lol See i still got alittle sense of humor.! Thanks again!

I am not bothering with the sexual harrassment just wc. My back is still killing me and they said in the emergency room it would get better in a couple days. waiting to hear from lawyer and the dr. so I can see a specialist and get an mri. or whatever they need to do. I need to get well asap i am single and have a mortgage and lots of bills like everyone else. I need to work!!!!!!!!!! Thanks for info.

Your employer is required to have a list of at least 6 Drs. that you can see when you have a work related injury. This list should also have the name and contact info on it fro the carrier that handles Workers Comp for your company. Check out the top of this page for info by state it will help you to get educated with the differant laws and statues.

My boss was supposse to make a copy of my injury report to give me and the claim they filled out and i just called him and he said he is taking it over cause the secrtary was supposse to make the copies and give them to me, my boss said the insurance will get in touch with me and he is not giving me a copy of anything and do not call him no more we have lawyers now to communicate,, I said well when i get fixed You said i still had my job and that is why i am informing you that i am going to drs tomorrow and he slammmed the phone down on me what an ass!!!! i got a lawyer and i see him tomorrow! Cannot wait! i ned info from him!
