second injury
Hi

I had 2 rotator cuff surgeries (full thickness tears) in the last year.
last summer, my left arm started to develop tendonitis due to overuse. i went to another physician and he gave me documentation regarding the tendonitis being directly related to surgery on the right arm. i informed my regular surgeon and he even wrote physical therapy orders for it. now w/c is teling me they are not authorizing it. she said she will not accept this as part of the orginal injury.
i have a cal out to my attorney
any input?
thanks

Yes Laurie. This is not uncommon to happen to an injured worker. In fact it happened to me. Too much darn pulley work about 'did-in' the shoulder in my good arm. I HATED those pulleys...was going to PT 3x week doing it, plus 2x a day at home. It was way way too much!
Dr called it overuse syndrome, and as long as he states in writing that it's directly related to your initial injury...WC prob won't have a chance or an arguement.
Good luck, and it's nice to see you posting again! Prayers for you! LillySmile

Injured worker, & tired of it all! I'm too old for games!!
