Smile the art of marriage
a good marriage must be created.
in the art of marriage the little thing are the big things
its never being too old to hold hands.
it is remembering to say,(i love you,) at least once each day.
it is never going to sleep angry.
it is having a mutual sense of values and common objectives.
it is standing together facing the world.
it is forming a circle of love that gathers in the whole family.
it is speaking words of appreciation and demonstrating in thoughtful ways.
its having the capacity to forgive and forget.
its giving each other an atmosphere in which each can grow.
its finding room for the things of the spirit.
its a common search for the good and the beautiful.
its not only marrying the right partner.
its being the right partner.

Each day is not a rite,it's a given.

Hurt..that was very good.... and so true...I believe something that is missing but the poem is very suggestive of it, is to be friends. My husband will always be my best friend and it started when I was almost 11 years of age until now. He will always be my best friend. Love Red

Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don’t matter and those who matter don’t mind.

RE: the art of marriage
Communication is # 1. That is what I think keeps a marriage strong. My husband told me not to long ago that I was his best friend. We have been married 27 yrs. and together 31. I am proud to say, I am so happy to be married to this man : )
