age
having been injured at work and being 61 years old how will this effect my chances at getting ss disability ? or am i better off just to try to get ss to retire me and hope workmens comp will settle soon

In able to answer your question we would need more information, What was your injury, Have you reached MMI, are you back to work, can you return to work, have you had surgery, How long were you planning on working before retiring 62 etc?

get an appt with SSDI... ASAP they can answer you better than we can and most likley help you with all paperwork
;)Workmans comp is not a road you want to travel alone.You need a good lawyer,a great family and good friends to lean on.If you make it thru without losing everything you have worked for all your life,you have come out ahead of the game.....
