It's never a lost cause, trust me. Just getting one person to listen and hear the truth is a major plus.

I will tell you this, you can forget Oprah....Cool

RE: it worth a try
The 2008 Kansas Legislative session several bills were introduced supporting injured workers. I e-mailed the governor and different legislatures.

I did receive a phone call from the gov's office and the wc ombudsman called me and I shared my story. He had pulled my records while we spoke and knew where I worked and knew I had an attorney and his name.

RE: it worth a try
Hi Hurt and everyone else. I do truly understand your motivation, insiration, and desire to make a difference. When I first came here and saw a bigger picture of the lack of care, the waiting game to get care, people going without food at one time, and everything else that I had never imagined could happen to a honest worker who is injuried on the job, I sent letters to Oprah, Montel Williams, and Nancy Grace on CNN. It did not turn into anything. BB is right, forget Oprah. I wish you luck, but when all is said and done, do not give up hope, because I still believe that someday, somewhere, someone will find a way to get through to the American justice system and govenment or even the whole population, and that will make a difference. It could be you. Good luck, best wishes and my prayer are with you in your attempts to be heard. Love Red

Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don’t matter and those who matter don’t mind.
