Update on grouchy blue monster

Even though I am not grouchy right this second I thought I better throw that in just in case, lol....my mood swings are becoming worse than the weather in some parts of the country!

Well I saw my AME in April and he reported that I need a new cervical MRI, cervical discogram and a psych consult.

I have appts. for MRI on the 14th and psych consult on the 24th. I see my neck doctor on the 30th.

Somehow everyone missed the discogram even though I called my atty's office weeks ago eager to have it done and over with. Even if it hadn't been overlooked I don't think it would have gotten done any sooner. I have requested a PM doc perform this as Jayne suggested. I will now have to have it done by someone I have never seen before because I have to stay within my MPN network.

I was told the appt for discogram would be made as near me as possible and I told them I don't care how far I have to drive for this one as long as it's a very reputable doc who knows his stuff...we'll see what happens.

So that is where I am and I'm sorry this is so long. I am still trying to fight for the rest of my injured bid parts but for now I'm just trying to get this all taken care of. At least things are finally moving.

I have Keinbocks disease in my left wrist which according to my research that means the lunate bone is dying. My first ortho doc told me that it cannot be caused by injury but is genetic. I found out he is wrong 2 nights ago and now I'm debating on trying to add this back in (I'm pretty sure it was in the original claim). When I slipped and fell in the oil pit I took alot of my weight on the left wrist just out of reflex.

So that is my story and for now I am sticking to it. I am happy things are finally moving, I just have lots of worries right now and am having a hard time even paying attention when I am talking to anyone.

BTW - my AME doc is still listing me as sprained/strained from the neck down...literally...I'm sure glad I didn't sprain my ankle, after 4 1/2 years that's really gotta hurt, LMAO!

Monster.....When reading your other post about me, me, me I want to tell you that I got there awhile ago with my injuries and the worry that comes with it all. During that me, me, me time I had a breakdown, came out of it and took control of my well being and treatment. Please try to not look at it as a bad thing. You are exactly where God wants you to be. He'll see you through. We will all be saying your name so much He'll be hearing us loud and clear.

Monster, you have good reason to be grumpy & distracted. It wears on a person after so long. Heck, I'm distracted in everyday life it seems!!! HA

I think you are in a better place with your case right now, as it seems that at least 'something' is going to be done in your care. I pray it moves along swiftly, and God will be holding your hand !

My Little Blue Buddy, it's Good to See that You are in a Bit of a Better Mood Today!! You are going through a lot Right Now, so it's Understandable that You can't Concentrate! Years Ago when the Stress was so Severe in My Life I turned to the Bottle, and I was up to a Fifth of Sky Vodka a Day, 7 Days a Week!! I was given the "Big Blue Book" the Bible for Alcoholics Anonymous, and I Read All 575 Pages!! What I Learned in that Book Saved My Life, and if I can give You any Advice at All, it would be what You have Probably Heard Before: "One Day at A Time"!!!!! Work Comp would love to brush you under the rug..don't let them...sometimes the squeeky wheel gets the grease...demand to have acceptable medical, which isn't it sad that we have to??? But since we do....stand firm, in order to get what you deserve!!!
