CC........red is so right about the meds. I have taken almost every SSRI on the market with no success. I am med sensitive and just cannot tolerate them. Every known tasty side effect and then some I suffer. I have also tried the older tricyclics with much better success other than the weight gain that comes with them. they are subtler drugs that really help with sleep/anxiety and depression. It took me years of arguing with my PCP and finally changing Dr.s to straighten it out. He finally put me on Klonopin which is one of the drugs prescribed for PTSD and I have had major success with it for the past 5 years. SOmetimes I have to take 3 a day, sometimes 2, sometimes 1 and I actually go months without taking it at all. We are all different when it comes to meds and have different side effects. One loves Paxil and 5 others will hate it. Counseling has been my mainstay with the PTSD, anxiety and depression. Went through hell from one drug to the other. Now I can't take anything because of my BP meds. So counseling it is for me. Wishing you the best always.

God is never late.

In the end it doesn't matter how many years were in your life but how much life was in your years.
