About my surgery
I posted on July 3rd about my surgery on June 23rd and this is a thread that was lost so I am posting again.
For a total knee replacement I believe everything went the norm. Surgery only took 1 1/2 hours, after the surgery the surgeon visited with my family. He told them," She wasn't lying about her knee, I found a lot more damage then I expected to find." I only had one MRI of the knee done, two weeks after the injury. These are the films the doctor was using at the pre-op appointment. I am in physical therapy 3x a week for four weeks. I have a lot of swelling of the entire leg with a difference of 4 cn. Been having trouble with scar tissue, I am unable to straighten my leg. Last session the PT bounced on my leg trying to get the knee straight. I am using a walker and wearing TED hose for 6 weeks, I do have an excuse for white legs. Thank you for you kinds words and prayers. Bummer Knees |
