BF is taking good care of me

BF is taking good care of me
In order for you to know how I first must explain...

I have been doing some yard work that is absolutely killing me to try and make some money. Actually my roomie took the job weeks ago and put his self in jeopardy due to his medical problems so I promised him I would get it finished (we are not people to go back on our word most times). I've only been working for a couple of hours in the evening when it is cooler and Dominic has been helping when he can which is almost always. Anyway we went last night and as soon as I walked in the door I was crying pretty badly from the pain. He did most of the work last night so I don't know why I was hurting so badly.

Anyway, I called him earlier today after getting off the phone with Red and he said he was going with a friend of his to do a little job side job type thing to help out his friend.

Now a couple of hours later he calls me and asks what time I want to go over to the yard job tonight and what is left. I tell him what time and what is left and he says "Well I guess you're done then." I ask him what he means and he says he and his friend just finished, everything is done.

I am sitting here crying as I am so thankful he did that for me yet I hate having to be helped like this. Alot of my pain is muscle soreness as I haven't done anything in so long. My left wrist and hand are in really bad shape from the Keinbocks disease that has nothing to do with WC (a bone is deteriorating in my wrist)

Anyway, I just wanted you all to know that BF is doing his best to take care of this stubborn woman. He knows I would have told him no about finishing it without me and he has been trying his best to talk me into just keeping him company while he did the work but it's not in me to sit and watch someone else do everything especially since he is not getting any money for all this work.

Just thought I would let you know how well I'm being treated. Sorry this was so long but I wanted to tell you guys.

Hugs,
monster

Wow Red, didn't even think about that! Thank you so much for the prayer, it must've been a good one Smile

Sweet - I am sooo thankful right now, my hands and wrists are swollen and ache so bad I don't know if I could have finished tonight or not. I must keep trying to chug along though as a bagful of money has not yet fallen on my head Smile

RE: BF is taking good care of me

Oh Monster......I am so sorry you are hurting so badly. I'm sure Red's prayers helped. Glad to hear the BF is taking care of you. I understand how you feel about "watching" BUT I also understand what a relief it is when you're are hurting so badly and someone just takes the burden off of you. Smile Try to rest and hopefully those muscles will relax too. Muscle strain is very, very painful.

Love ya,

RE: BF is taking good care of me
Good Morning monster....I am sure that you are still hurting as cap said if not only from muscle strain. I have experiencing that quit bit recently and I hate it. I am sure my strain is not as bad as yours. Mine is from getting stronger in one part of my body and that party connecting to another part that is not strong and I use them.... I was thinking about getting some arm and leg weights to attemt to strengthen if possible. You must rest today. I miss you dear friend. Love Red

RE: BF is taking good care of me
Instead of waiting for a sack of money to fall from the sky, I think you should go to Vegas, with a bucket, wear that red nity, stand in front of the mens room with a smile on your face... Girl ya could make a mint, Just think how many men's rooms there are in Vegas. ROFLMAO
Well if nothing else it was a thought and if it brought a smile to your face then I feel I have done my job...................

RE: BF is taking good care of me
You Better Swallow that Pride Girl and be Thankful He was so Worried about You to Help You Out!! That was Very Nice of Him, and We All Need Help Sometime, so don't let that Worry You!! It's a Great Feeling though isn't it to at least Know that there is Somebody there for You, to Pick You Up when You Fall? I know it was Hard for Me to Accept Help from My Sweet Ellen when I was First Hurt, but as She told Me it's Better that She does it and I am Less Hurt, rather than Me doing it and Getting Worse, so I had to Swallow that Big Pride Pill because it Made Sense!! Rest and Be Well, and Have a Great Day!!Smile

RE: BF is taking good care of me
Monster,
I hope you are feeling better today. Try soaking for awhile in a hot bath with epsom salts, this may help. Give your BF a big hug, since he was able to help you from going back out and hurting even more.

Red,
I believe that for strengthening yourself, you would be better off using the bands like the Pyhsical therapists use, then as you get stronger increase to using weights. I know the bands give your muscle a good stretch and helps strengthen without additional weight. This is just a thought, wouldn't want to see you get hurt. Start out slow and gradually increase the number of repetitions.

Love
Vickie
