RE: had the pre trial today
thanks Still in Limbo: you said some great things there. Thanks alot. I was told cause my burns are not on my face and neck that scarring really is not covered in Illinois. 2nd opinion is a great idea. I have lots to think about. I am afraid of giving up my medical. Any other ideas pass them my way. thanks smoke

RE: had the pre trial today
smoke1- very few cases here in Ilinois have open medical so think about that before you settle. If you are using one of the TV type lawyers it might be worth talking with a few others. But be prepared to wait a long time to get it settled. I refused settlement offer the first time and have been waiting over a year for it to go before adjusters again and my lawyer is saying it could be another year with no check, it has been 2 years now with no income and I will never be able to return to my profession as my arm is perm damage and continues to be in pain. None repairable thanks to bloched surgery.

May God send his angels to hold you in his arms

RE: had the pre trial today
smoke1 ....I do understand your fear about giving up on your medical. I have been sleeping all day so I have not done my research. I am going to do some here in a minute and later tonight. You do have a tough decision. If you do not have medical then this something to be concerned about. Are you working at this time? Are you able to make a living? So many questions I am sure that you are asking yourself. Still is so right about it is a low settlement I believe for what happened to you, but as Still I do not know the laws and how they rule in your state well. Maybe a second professional opinion is needed in your case. Good luck..I will be back on later tonight. Not sure I can help, but will give it my best shot..ok.. Red
