recorded statement
I injured my wrist at work a month ago. A few days after the injury to my wrist a nodule developed on my hand. He said it happens after muscle tears. The wrist is better, but the nodule becomes tender and painful at times. The doctor said the only thing they could do was an outpatient surgery. When I asked workman's comp if they covered this; they said they would have to check into it. She said that the doctor I went to said it was not from my original injury. When I disputed, I told her that he had told me different, plus because I work with dr all the time two other orthos had told me the same thing. Now she wants to do a recorded statement and is has refered it to a claims adjuster. Do I need a lawyer or is this standard. I feel like they are accusing me of lying.

RE: recorded statement
sounds like you need a written medical opinion documenting that it's related to the injury and then take it to the comp court if they refuse.

RE: recorded statement
sounds like they are starting the games with you like they did with most of use on this site.if they tell you they wont pay for it then i would at least talk to a lawyer and see what she/he thinks.they sould have to pay for it being it was not there before ur surgery and ur dr saidit was from a tear or did they cut that muscle to do ur surgery?good luck and welcome there will be more people coming along soon that have had wrist surgery that can give you some good advice.
Each day is not a rite,it's a given. |
