RE: going back to work
Painters, Are you still having pain? What is the reason you do not want to go back to work?. and what did you mean WC placed you at MMI. Only a Dr can declare you MMI.

Please give us more information, What state are you in?, and tell us how your injury happened and what kind of injury. What tests have you had and what treatment..... Then hopefully we can help you.

RE: going back to work
I do not see why you would have to go back to that line of work if you are afraid to re-injure yourself. Depending on what your injury is. I was not able to go back to my line of work for many reasons and happened to just get lucky one fell into my lap within my restrictions.

You could always get a job within your restrictions or maybe go to voc. rehab if that is a option. We would need to know more information, but just thought i would throw that out there for you to get some idea's.

carpal tunnel recurrence/ neuropathy / RSD.
1/29/07 injury date. Permanent. PIR settlement 8/4/08 10%
