Does anyone know what this means?????
I found this on iowa work comp site and have no idea what it really means.
"Begining June 10,2008 the Division will once again be doing walk-in settlements. They will be done Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 9-11am.They will be done according to the alpha breakdown in place for telephone calls and settlement appointments. Please make sure that a FROI is on file before walking over your settlement" |

RE: Does anyone know what this means?????
Risingeagle- not sure but sounds like, if you come to agreement with IC then you don't have to wait so long to get court date. Then lawyers can just walk it though the courts and get needed ok.
May God send his angels to hold you in his arms |

RE: Does anyone know what this means?????
settlements have to be approved before they are allowed to take effect. For those that need a quick turn around rather then handling everything by mail generally a personal "walk thru" can get an approval almost the same day.
