if I was hurt on the job tripping over the fair box and or my work bag can I be denied of compensation? If so why if the incident was during work hours?

RE: Hurt on the job
most work comps states have a "waiting period" during which disability payments won't be made until the time off work exceeds a certain period that varies by state.
medical and other benefits are still available if the claim is accepted.
each state has it's own work comp laws that may exclude certain employments or conditions.
most states require the carrier/employer to put the reason for the rejection/denial in writing - what reason did they give?
