Question A Question for Those going on the Pa. Trip!
Hello Everyone, I Hope You are All Well Today! I Spoke to Backache about what I'm about to Ask You, and She Suggested I Ask All who are going on the Trip, and I Agree Totally with Her, and would Never do this without Asking All of You! As You may Remember, right After Christmas Last Year I had to put down My House Dog of 16 Years, and My Father (Bless His Soul) had His Cocker Spaniel Bred, so I would have another Pup. This Pup is Now 6 Mos. Old, and I would Like to Ask if Anyone would Mind if I brought Her along on the Trip. From the Time She was Born, She has only been with My Father and My Family, and at Her Age She is Very Attached to My Wife and I, and there is No Way I could take Her to a Kennel while We are gone. She's a Great Dog, She is a bit Shy and Noisy when She meets New People, but She warms Up to Folks quick, and She would be Sleeping in Our Room in a small Kennel, and She is Totally House Trained. If She were a bit Older I wouldn't Mind Kenneling Her, but at this Age She has to be around Us, or She won't even Eat or Drink. When I have to go Out for a While and She's alone here at Home, She lays on the Couch near Our Sliding Glass Door, and waits for Me to Return. If this is going to be a Problem for ANYONE coming to the Castle I will Totally Understand, We are All there to Relax, and I wouldn't even think of bringing Her if it is going to be a Bother to any of You. Please Understand I will not be Angry at all if this is a Problem, but My Pets are like Family to Me, if it wasn't for Her after My other Dog Passed, I don't know what condition I would of been in without Her to Take Care of, as You All know, I'm stuck in My Home a lot due to My Injury, and She surely Helped Me through the Winter!! Thanks for Reading this, She Loves Kids, and I know She would be Great Entertainment for the Little Ones. Thanks Again, and I will await Your Replies!!!Smile

And Backache, Thank You so Much Again for being so Understanding, and allowing Me to Bring Her if the others Agree!!Wink

Bill lost his Angel last week she was a pom and we had her for around 14 years......Dogs dont bother me at all and with all the ones wanting to take walks she should get lots of exercise...

;)Workmans comp is not a road you want to travel alone. You need a good lawyer,a great family and good friends to lean on.If you make it thru without losing everything you have worked for all your life, you have come out ahead of the game.....Smile

Limbo,
Please do bring your baby. I love cocker spaniels. I had one when growing up. My parents got Dusty when I was 3 years old and he lived for 16 years. I remember many good times with him. I love animals of all types except for most reptiles, lol. You and your wife will probably not see her much, since we may all end up taking her for walks, or just sitting and petting her. Dogs are very therapuetic as well. Can't wait to meet your family and all the others that are coming. Remember to keep your fingers crossed for when I have my post-op visit on the 12th, that the Dr. will allow me to drive.
Love
Vickie

Hi Still...I would love to meet you puppy...she sounds adorable. You know her best and you know what she needs too feel loved..so I say bring her. I love little animals. My little 4 lb minature toy poodle has been spoiled completely. She will stay with my daughter. I believe my grand daughter who lives in Oregon with her family is taking her home with her. She wants her Sally back all the time, so Del and I talked about it, and Dawn and her husband are talking about it. Bottom line...take you friend, pal, companion with you...I dislike seeing any pet left in a kennel. Red

Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don’t matter and those who matter don’t mind.

Even with knowing All of You, and how Caring and Understanding Everyone is, this Group never ceases to Amaze Me!!!Smile Thank You All soo Much for Understanding, and She Loves Walks so Everyone will be Happy!! Thanks Again, You have to be without a Doubt the Nicest and Most Understanding People I have ever Had the Pleasure to Know!!! And to the Ones that have Lost Pets recently, My Heart goes Out for You, I had to Make the Decision to have My Dog Lucky put down, and it Broke My Heart. But letting Him Live in so much Pain so We wouldn't feel the Loss would have been Very Selfish, and He is in a Much Better Place now, Waiting for His Family Patiently (I Hope)!!Tongue

Still, I'll put the dragon in his cave until our visit is over....LOL Beetle Butt will sniff at me for hours when I get home because he will know Mom has been around another dog, but he will get over it I'm sure. ROFLMAO. He can't make it because he gets car sick and I mean if you put him in the car and don't even move...............he gets sick the poor little guy.........We will love having the pup.......

GOD BLESS OUR COUNTRY AND OUR PRESIDENT!
