RE: Update....
Hi Red.
Mainly I just fool around with painting landscape, abstract (no portraits) and pastels...though My favorite thing to do is Faux finishing. On the walls, woodwork, floors, & I love taking old furniture, stripping and re-painting...maybe add flowers, shabby sheik look, marble finishes, wood graining etc.....not sure I can even paint since the injury...haven't tried. But I think I could handle pastels. You sound far far more advanced than me. But I was the artistic developer at a custom printing shop, and did unimaginable finishes on parts for ready to assemble furniture. But that's history.
I'm not too crafty...but could be if I'd put my mind to it.

RE: Update....
Lilly I am mainly an amatuer. You sound much more artistic than me. I have a lot of styles down, because I have learned the strokes. After many years of doing it, you learn to put different things together, but for the most part I paint off of other peoples work. I do take pictures and then paint from that, but I have to see something to paint it. I love to paint cartoon, especially the disney princesses. My grand daughers love that. I usually do them in pen and ink. The oils that I am learning are a lot of fun. I can do a whole picture in less than two hours on a 16X20 canvas and they look great. People are always asking to buy them. I had thought that maybe I would play a game with one of them like monster did and jayne did. I am still thinking about it. I don't know if people on here would like them are not. I will see if Iget my courage up or not. Someday I would like to see some of your work. i do not know how to faux finish anything. I would love to learn. I like teh shabby look. I do that quit a bit with tole painting. I am writing a book again. I could talk about crafts and painting all day...it brings me back up...thank you.
