 The count down to Pa
 YAHHHHHHHHHH Only 19 days to go... Can hardly wait......Looking forward to meeting , and renewing friendships........ Everyone packed and ready to go?????????? Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass. It's about learning to dance in the rain. |

not me but am getting things ready......My daughter has the week off to watch the girls.......and have a list ready does that count?The garden is kicking my fanny right now....we are getting enough rain so we dont have to water but...........thats also enough for the plants and weeds to grow like wildfire.....I have baby squash,tomatos and cukes on the vines the cantaloupes are all a flower and beans are blossoming....should be frying squash at the end of the week........anyone having canning jars they are not gonna use anymore please bring em to Pa as I cant find alot of mine ....I give the relish and pickles away and never get my jars back.........we leave okla sat morn the 21st........oh and we have our rock so see I am getting there......

Way to go Jayne, I will see what I can do about canning jars!!! I have alot of jelly jars, but my neighbors may have others, ( qts) We freeze most everything now instead of canning.........I have yet to find a rock, May look for one from Wisconsin when we go after cheese... Gail and I were just talking of going to the cheese outlet. Afew days before we leave for Pa.

I love cheese....but I am afraid it wouldnt stay good thru all the traveling...........

Jayne , as long as it is kept cool it will travel just fine. If you have a cooler or ice chest, cheese travels well. It is not to late for me to pick some up for you. Let me know......

Tuffy...I am getting so excited and yet I have so much to do before I come. The first of May was when I was going to get started and I lost the first few weeks of May, first week in the hospital, 2nd week my daughter had a baby and her entire family was in my quest room. I stayed up at night and let her sleep that week .... then the third week..I was so exhausted that I just gave out again and didn't try to go up and down the stairs etc. Then finally got it started the end of May...so honestly I wish I had another week or two to get ready...but I will get there...I am just so excited to be there. I will just maybe have to cut out a few things I had planned but oh well.... it is what it is... as they say...countdown.. is now here.... I can't wait to see you alll....love Red

Red, Hey you,,,,,, Forget all the extras, just pack a bag for you and Del, throw them in the car and head out. LOL I know that is not you, but sometimes we just have to sit back and chill, So if not all your plans come together, So What, as long as we all get together that is what it is all about. ROTFL...... I am doing my best to chill..and i already recieved a warning from my son that I do not slow down soon he is going to kidnap me and take me to oregon and dump me off where my older daughter would love for me to visit for a few weeks... so that just ain't going too happen..so I am trying honestly I am trying...love you Red
