When we lived in Okinawa we endured one of the worst typhoons that they had ever had. We were in the eye of the typoon for 2 full days. I believe it had winds that were 123 miles per hour. What is interesting is that they are ready for them. I read a book during the entire storm. I watch a few things fly, but my home was built of cement, the windows blocked with shedders and some bars, and our cars were tied down outside...and of course the picnic tables and garbage cans and anything else out side came in to the house. It was nice and very restful...but I would not want to do it here, we do not build to protect against storms such as that...love Red
