Jane,
I am also from a military family. My father served in the Army in Korea as well as the test site in Nevada (he eventually lost his life to cancer due to his stint in Nevada). My oldest brother served in the Air Force, my other brother, sister, cousin, brother in law, my first ex-husband and myself were all in the Navy, serving in Cali at the same time, and now my daughter and her BF are Air National Guard in MI.

Angel ^j^

I've always been crazy, but it keeps me from going insane.

ChrisChris

After 9/11 the Early Childood students in the school where I taught sang this song for their parent's progam.

Even with the young age of the students, they did a great job.

I love this song, have to grab the kleenex when it plays.

Spring Wrote:The post are all so BEAUTIFUL!  Please all take a moment the next few days to say a special prayer for all our Military here and afar the one ones that have served in the past that have gave their lives just so we could be free today. In you don't pray...just stop what you are doing for a few minutes and give them your special thoughts.

I have had this little song  since my son..left for the Military. A very dear friend sent it to me.

Thank you for that touching link.

My son is over in Iraq now and I bawl my eyes out at such things.
