Morphine pump
Does anyone here have a morphine pump, and can you give me the pros and cons from personal experience?

The good news is,"You can get used to anything."
The bad news is,"You can get used to anything."

RE: Morphine pump
Hi Sithie! I'm not a Candidate for the Pump, due to My Scar Tissue Issue, but I have Spoken with quite a Few People that have it, and the Majority seem to be Pretty Happy with it. My PM Dr. and I both agree that the Pump will be a Very Last Resort for Me, I have enough Scar Tissue around My Spine, and We don't want to Add anymore unless it's absolutely Necessary. From what I understand it May take a short while to get the Dosage Correct, but Once that's done, the Folks I know have benefited Very Well from it. If You decide on that Route, I Wish You the Very Best, and Have a Great Evening!!

RE: Morphine pump
Maybe it wasn't the right dose for me, but I can truely say morphine does very little to help me. When I'm given morphine, they mostly have to give me something to go with it.
