got my AME re-eval already

Kind of good news bad news thing going on.

He states the level of pain I am complaining about is not supported by any test findings. I would tend to agree with him but of course I now look like a hypochondriac...great I just want to know what is causing all this pain whether it is work related or not. All I know is I had none of it until the heavy duty stuff I was doing with my last job. I feel so dam crazy half the time because the x-rays aren't backing any of my pain up.

He did finally recommend a discogram for my neck, whether I get one or not remains to be seen.

He also stated I am extremely suicidal and need to get in for a psych eval. Wheeeee, away we go...

I Agree with Jayne My Little Blue Buddy! When I had My MRI for My Injury, it only showed a small Herniation, and when I told the Original Dr.'s how much Pain I was in, they thought I was either a Wuss, or a Drug-Seeker. When the Dr. went in to Operate, the Very First thing He did when I went for My Check-Up was Apologize, because the MRI did not show that My Herniation was actually so Large it had Totally Crushed My S1 Nerve Root!! The Discogram will give You better Results, and they will find Your Problem. And as Jayne has said, they Psych. Eval. will Help You not only with SSDI. but also with Your w/c Case. I Wish You the Very Best, and Hope the find Your Problem and Fix You Soon!!!!!

The bad thing is my lower body from hips down is hurting so badly that I don't notice the neck to much anymore...I mean I do but the lower body pain is over riding the neck if that makes sense. I just want some answers as to why I'm in so much pain all the time. Maybe if the neck shows something he will then believe me about the lower back/hips/legs,,,if not then I am ready to give up

Okay...blame it on the meds. I am in so much pain right now, that I am living on percs. Thankfully, I am scheduled later today with the PM dr and he will get to see what I am like after having to drive to Ft Worth and back.

Now, blue furry friend.. if they offer you a nice padded room.. can I come and visit ??

But seriously.. I hate these dam Dr's that can get away with this kind of crappola. They dont' realize the harm that they do when they tell us that it is all in our heads. We know what our bodies are going through .. they haven't a clue. If they think that putting us through a couple of stupd tests that THEY came up with to measure our pain is going to be able to pinpoint everything that is wrong within our bodies...they need to get a new job. Maybe we could pay them to live our lives...with our pain so that they could be a little more human and begin to believe that there are things that cause pain that their silly tests may not find. ARRGGHHHHHH!!! *pulling out my hair*

I am lucky My PCP sufferes from migrains and has several injuries caused by his being a cattle rancher as well as a doc...so he understands my pain completely....may you all find one as great
