I worked with my attorney after I moved to OK. Most of our contact was via e-mail with lots of questions, etc that she or her assistant answered. This way I had things in writing, in a way. I just recently got a bill for the IME I had 2 yrs ago that wasn't paid. Let me tell you, I was all over that with my attorney because it was to come out of my settlement before I got it (contract on that) and she didn't do it. Not my fault and she has to pay it per our contract since it wasn't paid. Even if you feel that they are not doing a good job - don't be afraid to tell them that your tired of waiting 2 weeks and just hearing the same things. |
