RE: advice anyone???
i know i'm not going to get rich out of the situation. i would just rather settle everything instead of keeping medical open. after this is over i have no job to go too. i got hurt in june and i've had restrictions since sept. my job haven't called me back to work. i was told by a very reliable source in the hr department that they have no intention on hiring me. do you know what the judge takes into consideration when making his judgment. like i said i'm 27 not even a high school diploma no work experience. i know that might not mean nothing, but i did get hurt at my job. i was making 21/hr at my job that i only got because my uncle(35yrs) and his son(20yrs) pulled some strings. no way with my background can i get a job paying more than minimum wage.

;)Workmans comp is not a road you want to travel alone. You need a good lawyer,a great family and good friends to lean on.If you make it thru without losing everything you have worked for all your life, you have come out ahead of the game.....Smile

RE: advice anyone???
How are you going to survive ??? What about the future if you need surgery ?? Do you have the million bucks to get it done ? I dont know what lumber surgery costs but I can say this 1 level neck surgery was 28,000,00 for just the doctor and the hospital got 2x that ...
Close out the medical and you will have to pay it all outta pocket ... No insurance company will touch it and If like Me not even a doctor ...
w/c Ic only wants to close and offer settlement when they know more then you do ... thats why the fast offer .. We as the Pt arent told what the future will bring but doctors all know from experience what might ..
