What a week I'm here
Sorry I haven't been on but I have had a rather busy week. My middle son got engaged and I cried for the entire weekend, not sad tears but tears of joy. I couldn't ask for a better wife for this wonderful young man. Hubby and middle son have been going out to Ohio because hubbies ex wife is not doing well with the cancer and the kids aren't doing well with her illness. The two of them are out there trying to help out. After they left I had a relaxing week planned I was going to try and get things caught up around here.......Monday was cold here so I decided to get a fire going just to take the chill off. I as usual fell asleep on the couch and when I woke up I couldn't breath beacause the smoke in the house was so thick. The chimney caught fire so I had to move the parrot and dog out on the sun porch and then put the fire out. The carbon monoxide alarms were going off and I had to open all of the windows in the house and go out on the porch with the animals until the house cleared. So much for warming the place up. I stayed up all night just to make sure the house didn't burn down. Tues. my sister and aunts were coming down to visit and have a picnic and of course I had forgotten the power co. was shutting off the electric to work on the lines. I changed plans and we went to the Castle instead. My daughter showed up and halfway through the get together she tells me the ex boyfriend is giving her a great deal of trouble and won't move his things from her house. I had to call him and tell him he had to move his things out and then called hubby and son in Ohio to tell them what was going on. Well before I could finish talking the two of them were in the truck saying they were coming home. It took awhile but I told them daughter and I could handle it. They were going to call my oldest son.......that would have been the mistake of the year since he is so protective of me and my daughter so I had to talk them out of that stupid move. Wed. I get a notice from the Florida Parole Board that the man that killed my kids dad was coming up for a parole hearing. I was on the phone all day with them and trying to get all of my ex husbands family and friends to write letters to stop his release. The worse part of course was telling my kids this news. The jury had voted 11-1 for the death penalty in this case, but the judge at the time overturned this sentence. In the report it states, " (name of defendant) won't die in Florida's electric chair because the man he stabbed 25 times probably didn't feel the pain before he died. The decision turned on testimony from the medical experts who said ...kids Dads name........most likely was unconscious while he received at least some of the stab wounds. The crime therefore, was not heinous, atrocious and cruel, which in this case, would have called for the death penalty, said the judge." I have to wonder how many stab wounds he felt before becoming unconscious??????????? and how heinous, and cruel was it for my children not to have their father for the last 18 years????? This all occured because this man robbed my kids Dad for $80.00 a pocket knife and his lighter.........Well I'm sorry this was so long, but I wanted to tell everyone not to worry if you don't hear from me for a couple of days. I just hope the next day or so goes without any more problems. Take care everyone and I will check in......................................Backache I just got a call from daughter and ex BF is gone with all of his belongings. Thank God.........
GOD BLESS OUR COUNTRY AND OUR PRESIDENT! |

RE: What a week I'm here
Backache...you had a nightmare of a week. So much stress just isn't right for you to bear. When we all get to the castle, please just take it easy and do not do to much ok. As I said, we are all able to help in anyway possible. Love Red
