RE: please can someone help me?
I Agree with Backache, the VERY First thing My Attorney told Me was NO Contact with My Employer or their Ins. Co. Everything had to go through Him. The Adjuster in Your Case should be Very Aware of this, and May be trying to get You to Say the Wrong thing to Harm Your Case! Be Very Careful Speaking for Yourself without Your Attorney, it could Damage Your Case! I'm in Pa., and when the i/c doesn't Send Checks on Time, We can File a Penalty Petition against them, and the Judge Forces them to Pay on Time, and sometime Awards Monetary Damages that go to the Injured Worker. I just Won My Case, I had 12 Petitions, and Won 11 1/2 of them, and I was Awarded Monetary Damages for them not Paying Me the Correct Amount since Day One, and for not Paying for My Meds. on Time. I Wish You the Best, and Please be Careful whom You speak to!!

RE: please can someone help me?
Thank you for your response. I am sorry that it tookme so long to respond to you, been busy. I have found some things out since I got an attorney. Things seem to be going better than they were. I'm not sure about the penalty against them if they don't send my checks on time. I did say something to my attorney about one check in particular that was 3 weeks late and I had to pay a bunch of late charges on my rent, he said that I would get reimbursed for that. But he didn't say anything about penalties. Also I need to find a different way to reply to you. I guess I need to hit "new thread" instead of reply. Anyway thanks for the info. If you think of anything esle please let me know.

RE: please can someone help me?
I just hired my laywer. So when all of this was going on, I had just talked to him. He wanted me to do some things before he actually took on my case. The adjuster seems to be getting her shi? together now that she know that I have an attorney. So everything seems to be going better. Thank you for the information.

I never have to speak to anyone or do anything having to do with my case, but show up where he tells me to, and he tells me exactly what is going on all of the time. I would be lost without him and after all this is his job. Good luck Hun and I hope you get your check soon, but I would be calling my lawyer and having him/her earn their money. |
