Hi, I am in california. In the past 6 weeks w/c has sent me to different doctor for evaluation. One was a phsyc doctor and one was a back doctor. Both doctors are almost two hours away from where I live.It takes me about four days to recoop from the drive.I just got a notice that w/c wants me to go back to the back doctor in two weeks for a reavaluation. How could I need to be reavaluated when I was just there?
I have the worse lawyer ever. Everytime I call him he says he will look into it and call me back. He NEVER calls back and when i call him back he doesnt remember the problem. I have been told that you can not change lawyers. Is this true? Thank you for any advise. So lost in California |

RE: w/c doctors and my looser lawyer
im not real sure on the lawyer thing i THINK that that if you change lawyers they have to split any money won, they dont like that, giving up money.by sending you back to the dr again they are setting you up for a big denial.well thats what they did to me then another dr,then someone else, get the picture they pay these dr.s to push you around then when it come time to need things fixed they say theres nothing we can do or be fixed.well let do shots the short term fix all of blocks to see if we can get by with out having to spend money to really help you the rite way.welcome to wc.sorry thats why were all here to try to help one another.good luck dont be afraid to ask more were all here to help.
Each day is not a rite,it's a given. |

RE: w/c doctors and my looser lawyer
your lawyer probably told you that. It's not true; you can change any time. there is a single fee that's shared.
changing may not help; if you read enough posts on this site you'll find it to be a common problem. the best remedy is to become knowledgable yourself. there is a lot of information available. start here http://www.dir.ca.gov/DWC/InjuredWorker.htm this can also help http://www.amazon.com/California-Workers...896&sr=1-1 |
