I'll check out the thread. We don't set the shipping rates (actually, we don't mark up the products at all). Those products are from a company called Cafe Press, and they are great if you need small quantities (you can order just one of something). When someone wins a prize, the price you see is the price we pay. There is some commission level at some ridiculously high level we will never achieve, but it is really there to allow us to have a variety of promotional items for things like this.

I haven't looked at the shipping rates on Cafe Press for some time, but I know that shipping in general has gone through the roof. Overnight envelopes from our office have more than doubled. Energy prices would be the culprit on that.
