RE: what the ????????
Not all nerve test always show proper results. meaning the person could have missed the area where the problem is. Or called false positives or false negatives. These results can be common. A proper retest should be ordered by your treating Docotr if they feel it would show true results. Bulging disc can become herniated disc also. Bulging is a medical term for herniated disc.

RE: what the ????????
I would definitly have the EMG redone. I had one done years ago, and it was showing nothing wrong. Then i just had 2 done within a year and both showed mild distal delay in the wrist.
This now supports the problems i am haveing with recurring carpal and by having this test, it is very important as the doctors rely on this test for many reasons. At least it would be documented that you had a second opinion. If i were you, I do not care if i get billed for it or not, i would have it repeated. carpal tunnel recurrence/ neuropathy / RSD. 1/29/07 injury date. Permanent. PIR settlement 8/4/08 10% |

RE: what the ????????
Have a Test by a Dr. of Your Choice, and if the Results are different from the w/c Dr., File a Petition to the w/c Courts for a Hearing for a Judge to Decide on which Dr. is More Credible. I would Strongly Suggest that You have a w/c Attorney on Your Side, and if You Win, they will Owe You Your Back Pay, plus any Costs You have incurred. I Fought in the Courts for 2 Years, and Finally Won, and the whole Time, while My Case was in the System, My TTD Payments were Paid to Me. Your Co. May Ask for Superceadeus, which Means they can stop Paying You, but the Judge Usually Denies this if they feel You have Proper Grounds for a Dispute. I fought My Case in Pa., so it May be a Bit Different for You, but Your Attorney will Guide You along the Way! Best of Luck, I Hope All goes Well!
Failed Back Surgery, Chronic Pain, Totally Disabled. Knowledge is Power, Especially in the World of w/c. Learn as Much as You can about Your States w/c Laws, and don't Fight Battles alone, They Use Attorney's, and so Should You!! |

RE: what the ????????
I also had 2 EMG's done. One showed a possible pinched nerve at the C7 and the 2nd one showed lots of chronic nerve damage. CAP God is never late. In the end it doesn't matter how many years were in your life but how much life was in your years. |
