Missing so many
Hi all...I just felt a need to say to everyone that I have missed you all so much. MJC just wrote a note on Still's post that made me want to write this and say, "no matter where you are or what you are doing, we are all here for you anytime". I know that I have not been on as much as in the past, as I too am not doing very well again healthwise... but even when that happens I always remember that my online family is here thinking of me. I just wanted to say to those that have not been here very much lately that I miss you and my prayers are going up daily for everyone and to each of you I send a special hello, we love and miss you, and we are all here praying for you to have a life of contentment and joy in knowing that you have an online family who will always be here for you... (forgive me if I leave anyone out).... MJC (you are always in my heart), kentuckygal, (always thinking about you and your grand-daughter and grandson), Deb (miss your angel flying my dear friend), backache(have not seen you around much lately and can't wait to meet you face to face, you are a treasure to us all), Spring (miss you my friend always...no matter where you are and what you are doing, my heart goes with you), Wink (miss your clever witt and insight very much), Snowbear...did your bear finally take a break from all that pushing of snow... I miss you dear friend and thank you so much for the card...it made my day, Pooh (you dear friend are missed more than words could describe), Grundig(where have you been... we all miss you) and I know there are more that we all have attachments too that have been absent.
Always believe that while I write this note, first and foremost is that you understand that we all desire for you to feel content with your life with us or without us... it is your life and I especially know that sometimes we all need a break from the forum, and also I know if I am gone, then someone will still be sending up the prayers for me...as we all do for all of you... love you all a lot... but I am selfish...because I miss you so much.... love Red Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don’t matter and those who matter don’t mind. |

RE: Missing so many
Red,
Sent you a PM And to give all an update - my appointment was moved up a day - not sure what my PCP did - but even changed locations on me - so now got to drive 1/2 hour further through rush hour traffic to boot in OKC (jayne knows what that means). So going today and hopefully starting to get things worked out. I sent you part of what I am taking with me. I am also taking all my meds along with a list of what they are and side effects that I have with them and other pm things that I do. I will send that to you as well. Maybe you can help me with that. Did get my appeal in to SSDI so I can still send my letter in to them once I get that all together. (((((((((((((((((((hugs to all)))))))))))))) |

RE: Missing so many
Hi I'm here Red and everyone. You got me painting up a storm, which I really appreciate since it keeps my mind off of everything, just it is getting nice out so I sit on the porch and paint. I know I should come on more, and I do check in once in a while, but I am so sick of this WC bull that I try to keep my mind off of it. I am waiting for my MRI report according to the surgeons office I am about the same, but he doesn't think surgery will help now. What a change from before when he said it would be 90 to 98% successful and the pain would go away. I guess since they are not the ones whose life is being put on hold they don't care....... I just don't want everyone to be brought down by my mood. I keep getting calls from my coworkers and they want me back so bad because they say it just isn't the same without me. I would do anything to be able to go to work like I use to and not have pain, but unfortunately in my line of work that would be impossible right now. My Dr. on the other hand knows what nursing home nurses do and he still says there is no way I can do it, which of course I know, but the Dr's who do not work in them have no idea of the back breaking work we do every night. I guess they think we sit behind a desk gabbing all night instead of running our rears off. Well anyway I never stop thinking of all of you and will try to check in more. It is hard for me to stay in the house now that it has warmed up since this last winter was the longest of my life. Love all of you....Backache
GOD BLESS OUR COUNTRY AND OUR PRESIDENT! |

RE: Missing so many
I'm here. Red I sent you a PM. I thought I lost my little angel when my computer fried but she's still here
. I finally just went out and bought me a new computer. I have been totally exhausted going through Chronic Pain Management. It's 8 hours per day of mostly excercising and then we have some counseling. 2 weeks straight and now I am off again until they can get the approval from the insurance company for more time. They will probably give another 2 weeks. They are just soooooooooo generous don't you all agree? Sorry for the sarcasm.Deb |

RE: Missing so many
Deb,
Sounds like what I went through and in the end they even stopped that on me from my original injury. Update from my rheummy appointment is that she believes with all that I gave her - and red you know what that is - She believes that I have Fibromyalgia. She did start me on some new medication so we will see how that goes. So far I am tolerating it quite well but still just starting on Lyrica. She also says walking is good - even with the knee/leg pain as it will help keep muscles working. This is something that I have been trying to do almost daily at this time. Some days it is easy to do the walk and other days I am hurting before I get to far from home. But I am keeping it up at this point. |
