RE: monster is being bad...
When i first met my husband ( when I was 13-he was 14) my father never liked him because he had a dirt bike. long blonde hair etc. Well, unfortunatly my father passed away at 45 from MS and never got to see me marry this man.

He is one of 8 brothers and sisters. A big family. Whenever we have gatherings, he hugs his mother when they see each other. Never have I ever seen such a close knit family like his. I have been married now 28 yrs. this month and think he is the best father, grandfather, friend, husband I could of ever asked for. He is a hard worker, tells me how beautiful I am all the time and always comes home to me at the end of each day.

I could not of asked for anyone better. So, there is GOOD men out there, and I do believe also, that if they treat their mothers well, it is a good sign they would respect and appreciate you as well.

Have fun, and be careful.

RE: monster is being bad...
Good Morning all... this thread just keeps going and going. I have missed all of you these past three days. BA, I don't believe now that his mother is mean to me on purpose, we have had years together. I just believe after a good assessment without my emotion attached to it, that she is truely experiencing the beginning signs of alzhiemers disease or demetia. Either way, it pains me also to see this beautiful and talented women move in this direction. There was a time, I would sit on her front porch of her home and hear her play on the piano "oh when the saints go marching in" changing it rthym from country to jass, to the blues, and then on to a classical peice in just a few measures between the flipps. I always that her arrangement of it was the most beautiful that I had ever heard. She is so talented and puts so much of herself in her music. I didn't hear hear her play on our last trip. That was sad. Love you all Red
