My Ear Condition
Hi Everyone, I Hope You are All Well! My Ear Specialist at Eye and Ear Hospital has decided, and I Agree, that Major Surgery is going to have to be done to Both of My Ears. I have trapped Debris that can turn infectious, and they can't get through the Ear Canal to clean it Out. Apparently My Ear Canals have Closed, and We can't get them to re-open, so Surgery is Necessary to Save My Hearing. She is going to do a CT Scan from Her Hospital Next Monday, and then Discuss the Surgery with Me. At this Point, all I know is they are going to have to re-build, Skin Graft, and Open New Ear Canals, remove the Debris, and Assess the Damage to My Ear Drum and Hearing. I Have Full Faith and Trust in My Doctor, so I Hope All will go Well. The next Few Days are going to be a bit Hectic for Me, I'll be on when I can, and update when I have More Info. Be Well Everyone, I will try and Check My PM Mailbox when I can. As You All know, no one ever said it would be Easy, there are Good Times and Bad, and this is just one of those Bad Times. My Daughter is Moving back Home, Thank God, She's Heartbroken, but I think She has Realized that Her Boy Friend is not going to change. He attempted Suicide Last Night, He'll Survive, but I think She has finally had enough. I am going to try and Spend as much Time with Her as I can, as You All know, My Family is My Life, and I want them Secure, Safe and Happy. I know Your Prayers will be Strong for Me, and will Help Me through this Rough Patch, I'm looking at it as a Bump in the Road, not the whole Highway, and Better Days will follow. Bless You All and Be Well, and I'll have You All in My Thoughts Daily!!

RE: My Ear Condition
Still...I am sorry that you are going to have to go through a surgery, on the other hand, this is good news. I will confess I was a bit worried. I am so happy however, that surgery can fix the problem and that you are confident that you are in good hands. That is so important to feel safe with your physician.
As for your daughter, I am happy that this is going to end because from what you described in earlier notes it was a "no win" situation for you or your daughter. She will have a tough few days to months, but I know and trust that her loving father will be with her every step of the way. thank you for being you. Love Red Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don’t matter and those who matter don’t mind. |

RE: My Ear Condition
Still, Glad to hear that your daughter has decided to come home, sometimes we just have to let our children make and learn on there own. It is all apart of growing up. No matter how much we care and love them ,they have to make there own way in the world.
Good luck with your ear surgery, it sounds like you have great faith in your Dr and that is half of the battle. My thoughts are with you. Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass. It's about learning to dance in the rain. |

RE: My Ear Condition
Limbo,
I'm glad that your comfortable with your Dr., I think that makes going thru any surgery a bit less streesful. I will continue my prayers for you and your family. I hope that all goes as planned for you and that your hearing is restored to normal. I think it is a good thing that your daughter has decided to move back home, you two can comfort each other during the next few months, you are a good dad. Love Vickie |
