Update
I went to my family doctor (Osteopath) on my back today and he did exactly what I thought he would and scheduled me for a MRI of my back. (Our local hospital has a new machine that is impressive according to the medical community.)

I told the doctor about the increase in weakness & pain down the right leg. Also told him about the burning across the back & down the leg and about the right side going totaly numb last week.

He did some reflex testing and said yep, it's your back. Going to see the doctor a couple days after the MRI and will let you know.

RE: Update
Thanks Vickie,

When the doctor tested my knee reflexes today they were absent. That is when he said; the problem is your back.

I felt like saying, and what else is new?

RE: Update
Thank you everyone for your responses.

I have learned the need to pace myself in my daily activities.

The online college class I am enrolled in requires 2 1/2 hours of classroom observation which I am doing this morning. I will be observing a 2nd grade classroom which contains regular & special education students.

I hope I am up to the challenge.
