RE: jayne..candy dishes...
guys this is a wedding gift for a young mennonite couple.......in their life there will seldom be any extra money for something beautiful just because........Now their homes are beautiful in their simplicity...but nothing is ever bought just for beauty......I want to give them a beautiful gift painted by Red......something that is not only beautiful but useful.....you all help me choose......

;)Workmans comp is not a road you want to travel alone. You need a good lawyer,a great family and good friends to lean on.If you make it thru without losing everything you have worked for all your life, you have come out ahead of the game.....Smile

RE: jayne..candy dishes...
jayne...please let them know that I am doing it for cost...to sell anything on this site is unethical and I believe against the TOS...I am happy to do it, but I could get thrown off this site if I was selling for a profit... etc. I only put it here because I am not sure what kind of candy dish you wanted.

Also..the cookie jar is a lot more expensive than the first little jar...but let me get the actual price and then I will get back to you through pm. It is beautiful. Anyone I have given this too just loved it. I keep saying that I am going to make some of this stuff for me someday...you would all be surprised to know that I have little of this left...because all of the glassware has been given away.... to my staff a few years ago...or my family, or both my daughters staff ext. For instance, I just painted an oil painting, a cake dish, and an acrylic painting which I framed both paintings for my daughters baby shower. Her office is having a shower and I said I would bring the gifts...just seat type gifts...no games per sey...

Thanks for all your beautiful comments, and again, I want to remind you that I have no talent... and Cap, I have always had a very analytic mind from doing family assessments when I was in Japan, to doing risk management, problem solving for wound control, staffing issues, and so much more. Even though this is all true, I always wanted to paint, and finally around 1999 or 2000...my husband said, paint me some flower pots for outside. For an entire year all I did was buy book on painting and then painted so many flower pots... etc. Then I moved to glass flower pots...and Vases... then I decided to do it right and took some great classes...and then certified in 2002. So I didn't learn over night and any one can do both the oil and the acrylic painting... as Bill Alexander would say....I PROMISE....LOL Red

Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don’t matter and those who matter don’t mind.
