RE: Case Settled today
I am so happy for you and hubby to finally be able to settle. No money in the world could give you or him back what you both lost and what he suffered. I cannot wait till the day mine is over, so i can finally get the REAL care i need so that i do not suffer anymore. If that is possible.

carpal tunnel recurrence/ neuropathy / RSD.
1/29/07 injury date. Permanent. PIR settlement 8/4/08 10%

I'm glad to hear that you and Del are finally done with W/C. He can concentrate on his next career now without the added distraction of the W/C.

RE: Case Settled today
Thanks everyone... we are very happy to have this behind us, and as most likely most of you know, yesterday it was all signed by everyone and the judge said that the IC has 2 months to pay our money to us and our lawyer... Del was at the court house for an hour and a half..and later he told me that during this time, all the lawyers, judge, and his lawyer was complaining that the number of workman compensation cases has decreased in the past 5 years due to outsources of production. Then one of the lawyer said, "yeah, NJ use to average 27,000 cases per the number of lawyers who work with W/C cases and now we are only averages 7,000 cases... he came home very concerned they they would opening talk about their losses in front of a court room full of IW's. I truly believe that this is one situation where it validates my belief's that our world is ran by lawyers... after all most senators, presidents, and representatives all have legal background..and they are the ones making our laws... First, I want to say, Way to go Del, and also to Red now you two can put all WC issues behind you and enjoy. I hope there was enough left after buying new tooth brushes to buy the tooth paste LOL.

My Attorney is still working on getting my settlement check, The WC ic has untill the 8th of next month to get the check to my attorney , or back to the Arbutraitor we go with a penalty claim on the 8th. So I hope Dels comes in the alloted time. Boy am I a pessamist ROFL.
