Post MMI ?s
Hello all, Been a bit busy here in forclosure capital USA (SWFLA) with our own chapter 13 as I`m sure a few of ya`ll are going through thanks at least in part to WC. We`ve had a enough of attys and a lack of straight answers from both WC and bankruptcy. Patience, my wife, and reading you folks here, who are in the same boat, have helped my from at least breaking someones jaw. Thanks. When my doc put me at MMI in Jan. I told him then (and a month earlier ) that I still had pain and it was unstable after the partial knee replacement. he said it had nothing with the implant and released me to FT work w/ restrictions that make me unable to do electrical work(29yrs). Now, I saw him this past week for a follow up and since he found out I now have an atty it seems to him that " Oh maybe I do have a problem ". If I go to the store and walk around for an hour by the time I drive home I`ve just about fell on my face just getting out of the car. This is worse than before the surgery. Does anyone know if I can get back on TTD or what a good next option would be? The last time I spoke to my atty I got the feeling that in FL once they say MMI your SOL. I`m looking at getting a IME. What kills me is no attys would give me the time of day until I was denied benfits or at MMI. Any input is welcome prior to talking to my atty this week. Thanks CJ

RE: Post MMI ?s
no you can be returned to TTD status-- it often happens when there is a dispute about necessary treatment like a surgery.
You can either return to your original doctor and get a revised report or get a second opinion. |
