Sorry to hear about the cold weather. We have already broken the past history records for high temps.. The bad news about that is, I think we are going to have an extreamly hot summer.

Hi all...Tuffy I heard that we may have snow on Easter...today it is about 40 degrees out side with a bright sun. I really dislike the snow...but it is a must to balance the weather I guess..at least I have heard that...sort of like telling me that snakes have purpose in life and they must be preserved...not around me please. Love Red

my missy turns 40 monday and there was snow drifts a foot deep that day (in ky) grin and bear it cause its coming anyway rite ?makes me GLAD to be in south ga but would love to see it

After the awful storms Tuesday we are having just beautiful weather here in Dallas. It is supposed to rain Easter but hopefully not. I have spent a lot of time walking outside these past few days just getting a good breath of fresh air. It really is mind cleansing.

Tuffy I hope the weather clears up for you real soon - NO MORE SNOW FOR TUFFY!!!!!

It's in the low 40's here now and it is supposed to chill down to the upper 20's tonight and a chance of snow for tomorrow into Easter Sunday. I hope that will be the end to the cold weather. We were good this year as far as not as much snow, but had more ice and cold temps. It is supposed to be Spring now. I'm ready,lol.

I said that to hubby last night when i went out on our deck to have a cig. The wind was blowing almost 40 mile hour winds. I said to him " this is spring?". It was very cold with the wind blowing. We still have 4 ft. of snow in my backyard. I know in a few weeks we will be complaining it is toooooooo hot!!!

How in the heck am I suppose to have my Easter egg hunt????? I guess it will be inside again this year. Now I know it may sound a bit strange, but about 4 years ago I started to have Easter egg hunts for my kids. Yeah they are 30, 24, and 22 but what the heck. When I first mentioned the hunt they all sat there looking at me as if I were nuts.....That was until I told them the eggs have lottery tickets in them. I thought the boys were going to kill each other running around the house looking everywhere. The girls including future daughter in laws love it. As soon as they get here Sunday they will start snooping around so they know where the eggs are when its time.

That is a very clever idea for your kids. It was snowing about an hour ago here and cold. But as you know, this is Pa. give it a day and the weather will change again. I hope we actually get a spring this year and not just jump from cold to searing hot again. I do like having all four seasons, but have to admit that I don't care for extreme cold or hot, lol.
I must be getting old, hehe.

Where is Spring is right!!

We started getting our snow storm yesterday evening....and awoke Saturday morning to about a foot of the white stuff covering everything! I hope this was Winters' last hurrah......I'm so sick of being holed up inside!
