I miss you all....
Hi all…have you noticed how quiet the board has been? I really miss seeing all of you on here communicating and sharing with each other. I come on a lot and then just leave because there is nothing to comment on that I have not already commented on. I miss all of you and I can’t wait to see everyone at the castle. I do know and understand that you all are very busy with your lives right now, however, I wanted to say, I miss you and I think you are all tops. I know that we will all come back together again soon.
To update you on my life, 1. My daughter is now due May 17, 2008 and she has gestational diabetes which explains why this little boy is so large. They are going to name him Dominic Daniel. I can’t wait to meet him. 2. Del is almost ready to graduate from University of Phoenix. He is looking for a job in information technology. I am very proud of him. It has been a lot of work and he did very well. 3. My grand daughters are growing so fast that I am afraid if I turn my head again, they will be graduating from high school. They are so cute and they love to come to grandma’s house. 4. Del has completed my craft room and I am so happy about it. 5. My son is engaged and they are going to Greece to get married within the next year. 6. Our oldest daughter has decided to stay in Oregon and I am really hitting myself for everything that has happened with the move to Oregon idea. 7. Del has almost completed our website. We obtained a name and it is called … LuvmyBrush. I will let you know when it is absolutely up. A craft distributor has contacted us and we are going to act as the northeast distributor for them through our web site, Amazon, and eBay. I am still working on getting set up on eBay and Amazon. 8. I am helping a friend of mine get ready for the MS walk. I am not going to walk it, but I am going to sit with her mother and cheer them on. This is in early May. 9. Del is going to Oregon to obtain our things soon…so we are getting the house ready to receive all of it. 10. Construction will be beginning on our house around the first of May. We are having a down floor built to the same level as the rest of the house with hard floors being placed versus carpet. Then the sliding glass door is being moved to the breakfast room and replaced with a French door. They are putting a stair way lift on the stairs doing to the master bedroom and new windows with gadgets that will allow someone who is setting in a wheelchair to open. They are also remodeling 2 bathrooms so that they will be ADA compliant. This should all be completed by the end of June I hope. 11. Then I am getting everything together for our trip to the castle. I believe that this is really giving me strength each day. I can’t wait to go to the castle and be with everyone. This is so great of backache to make this happen. She is so sweet and kind and my kind of nurse. Please though…I do not want to go to the dungeon…it is reserved for Jayne alone lol. 12. In terms of my health, things are about the same. I believe I have decided to start on this new medication … I see the doctor again in a couple of weeks and then he will take me off all my medication that is given to me to lower my immunity for 6 weeks and then I will start this new medication. Wish me luck. The kicker was that I have lost my eyesight again in my right eye. I know my sight will return as usual, but I will admit that it does make me very nervous...mostly because I believe that I can live if I am in a wheel chair all the time, but not too see, well that would not set well with me… other than that my life is good. I guess I have written everything in one note… just wanted to give you all an update and let you know that no matter where you are or what you are doing, my heart, mind, and prayers are with you. None of you will ever truly know what a blessing you have all been to me for this past year. I can’t believe it has truly been a year since bad boy introduced me to all of you. Thanks bad boy...It brought me to the greatest group of people in the world… thank you …love Red Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don’t matter and those who matter don’t mind. |

RE: I miss you all....
The new baby is going to be so wonderful. I bet he will be an artist. Daniel is one of my favorite boys names of all time and Dominic is such a powerful name. Tell Del I am so proud of him. I could be a professional student if I had my druthers. I want to take your art classes on the net. It would be so much fun watching you create your wonderful paintings. You are the one who got me back into painting. I just wouldn't have had it in me to start up again without you .I wish we were closer my hubby and sons could do your construction work for you. They are absolutely amazing at their trade. I can't wait for all of us to get together at the Castle it will be great. You have been so busy and yet you take the time to help all of us. You are an amazing woman.....
GOD BLESS OUR COUNTRY AND OUR PRESIDENT! |

RE: I miss you all....
Hi Red, your life has been busy.
My grandbaby is due April 25th, and we found out this week that the my daughter-in-law has gastational diabetes. I don't believe there will be any treatment other than watching her diet. When my husband and I moved to our home we planned on making our home ADA compliant and that has gone very slow, although we have made a few gains. I have a two story home with the garage being on the basement level and I must take the stairs (12 steps) to enter the main level of our home. The may present a challenge when having a knee replacement. Bummer Knees |

RE: I miss you all....
As Always My Dear Red, My Best to You!! I have noticed the Board a bit slow Myself, when I have had a chance to get on. I wish Del the Best with His Graduation, and Your Daughter the Same with the Birth of Her New Son, Your Grandson!! The Castle Visit is going to be Great, I am going to go to about 3 of these Ear Treatments, and if there is no Improvement, I think I am going to Talk to the Dr. about the Surgery. I surely don't Treasure Double Surgery on Both Ears, but I want to try and be able to Hear Well before the Castle. I still haven't gotten a Decision from the Judge yet on My Case, We closed in Nov. and had until Jan. 15 to get Our Finding of Facts in, but the Defense Attorney figured out a way to extend that until the end of Feb. so here I set, awaiting My Answer. All Else is Well, My daughter Graduates from Chatam in May, and She has already been accepted into their Grad School, so I'm Very Proud of Her! Rest and Be Well, and I Hope You Eye Sight returns very soon!

RE: I miss you all....
Red,
I feel the same way about you as the others. You have gone out of your way to befriend me and become a huge part of my family. I enjoyed my visit to your home and will always treasure my paintings, the one you taught me to do, as well as the ones that were my Bingo prize. I liked Del very much also from the start, he was a very nice man who didn't make me feel that I was an intrusion in y'alls lives. He is a great cook and makes coffee to look forward to having. Please give him my congradulations on finishing his schooling, and tell him I'm proud of him as well. My daughter is still doing well and as you have said before, she has great ambition and it will help her in her career. A little update on her. She has been training new CNA's at the hospital and working in Med/Surg area as well as the ER, inputing patients. She was just given a new position to learn what the nursing administrater does, she of course said yes to this. She is willing to learn anything that they want her to learn. Her superiors are very pleased with her work ethics and attitude. She had to actually call off work in the beginning of this week due to being very sick, with hopefully the flu, and not her gallbladder again. Her boss was great about it, because she never calls off. I'm very proud of her for being able to do all of this and deal with the babies, school and home. I do miss them very much, but at least we can talk on the phone. I hope everything continues to go well for you and Del. You inspire me to learn new things and find out what things I can actually do and enjoy. Ironically I have plenty of time now since I'm off work, if I could drive, I could go visiting some of the forum family, but instead I have to just stayhere and write or call y'all. Can't wait till the castle. Love Vickie |

RE: I miss you all....
hi all...thank you for responding to my post. I was really feeling lost without seeing all of you on the forum. Vickie thank you for all your nice comments. And as I have always said to you, you have a very remarkable daughter. She has her hands full and she still doesn't give up on her dreams. I am very proud of her and she is not my daughter. Del graduates this summer...so it isn't immediate, but after 4 long years of full time...it is a blessing to know the end of school is near for him.
sweet tooth..love ya lots too...Red Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don’t matter and those who matter don’t mind. |
