Ok everyone...if your interested I've started changing the words to fit the injured workers plight somewhat, but I need help this is what I've come up with so far
there comes a time when we heed a certain call
when the world must come together as one
there are people hurting
and its time you lend a hand to live
their greatest gift of all

you can't go on pretending day by day
that someone, somewhere will soon make a change
we are all a part of Gods great big family
and the truth you know,
help and love is all we need

we are the hurt, the injured people
we are the ones trying to make a brighter day
so please start giving

to save a person's life

send them your help, so they'll know someone cares
and their lives will be stronger and free
as God has shown us by turning stones to bread
so you must lend a helping hand

now have stopped living

saving someone's live
it's true if you'll help them with the strife

we keep believing there's no way for us to fall
