Off topic.....Help with a bad cat

Jayne you remind me of father in law we still have holstiens but bottle calf them
and you are right darn cats know the routine so they beat you to the barn first fighting for who is first in line ..
You only have 9 fighting in line I cant count how many there are at farm since right now there are 6-8 batches of babies right now ..
Its community feeding between 3 batches of 4 . kitttens take thier pick of which mom to eat from .
Want some geese .... cut anddice for me

Oh my, would hubby have loved the last parts. Cat burgers!!! Yep that's his plan. I did give her canned food last night as Monster suggested and the very first MEOW out of her this morning was still at 5:30 so I very quickly dumped the other half of the can and went back to bed until 8:30. that's a first for me in many years. she's 10. every since we had her I have been the first one up at 5:00 a.m. for work and fed her. How do you break a 10 year pattern. I know we're all doing it but how do you get through to a cat? I think she's worried if I don't get up because hubby and daughter have both gotten up to feed her and she still wants me as CC said. Pain in the butt is what she is. and LOUD. Maybe we just have to re-structure her eating times. kind of like a baby. stuff her during the day so she sleeps later.Had out kitchen remodeled and took the door to the basement off and have to still replace it. if this continues I'll probably put her down there at night. Have tried to squirt her, give her a love smack, will also try the treats on the side of my bed. With this vertigo I'm liable to roll right off on top of her and then problem solved. LOL

Ihave heard of Cat burgers but never squashed cat,   wonder if it would be good stuffed????????LOL      Mine also started in this morning and he had food and water,    Go figure          I think they howl for our attention.   more or less saying where are you.         Cats rule!!

I have a cat book, will see what it says if anything .

thanks tuffy.......mine does the same thing. full dish of food and water and still needs me up at 5:00 a.m. I don't mind being up but wish i had a job to go to. instead of spending the day exercises body parts that scream. You all know the drill.
