Off Topic never a great loss

RE: Off Topic never a great loss
Thanks Tuffy, I hope it turns out. I can cook, but don't do too much baking.

I rarely cook anymore. Tonight's dinner was Canned Chili, added Cut Up Hotdogs, and Shredded Cheese. Instant Chili Cheese Dog! My husband does most of the cooking, as did my dad when I was growing up.

MJC, My dad was a 30-Year Army Cook, and he also did all the cooking at home. I grew up Army Brat and believe that is why I acquired my need to be a perfectionist in everything I do. Constant G.I. Inspections with the white glove! Not a good thing, because when you receive a life altering injury, your world is then turned upside down.

Let Go, and Let God......

RE: Off Topic never a great loss
Hi all...MCJ your husband sounds like mine. He does everything for me. For the last 4 days I have been walking on my own again so that was nice. I even went to a painting class today without a walker or a W/C. I have braces, but that is ok. It was nice to get out for awhile.

ChrisChris...so you are an army brats uh? I am sure that you had to have a white glove inspection quit frequently. I didn't grow up in the military, but I did spend sometime in it. I use to have to do the white glove inspections but with my corpsmens in our clinics. It was interesting. It would make you perfectionist as the white glove tells all and there is nothing escaping its teltale signs.

Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don’t matter and those who matter don’t mind.
