RE: OT never a great loss
Jayne- Do you drink the milk straight from the cow? or is there a process first before you can drink it. I only ask because of the news reports and some farmers getting into trouble for selling milk that hasnt been pasturized. Or if they do sell it, they have to label it pet food. Is it bad like the news says it is?

Geena and my dad planted tomatoes and cucumbers. Last year he grew albino pumpkins.

RE: OT never a great loss
our cow has been TB tested.....we keep things very clean and have an electric milker...she is fed NO HORMONES just sweet grass and clover and corn and a sweet feed made with molassasmmmmmmmmmmakes good milk...no I do not pasterize changes the taste of the milk...however I never drink milk older than 36 hrs after that we feed it to the dogs....your milk is older than that before it leaves the farms...course I have no need for 3-5 gallons of milk everyday....I do however make my own butter and cheese....dogs,cats and hogs all love milk

Toungue RE: OT never a great loss
Jayne, this isn't fair lol. My friend I use to work for, I would give his wife a cooler full of Bass (Fish). She then would make me Banana Bread and Zucchini Bread, enough to freeze, so I would always have some.... Stop making me drool now lol.... TongueBig Grin Then she would allow 4 Zucchini's to grow large for me. I would take them, cut each end off, and stuff them, then freeze three for the winter, emmm emmmm good... Tongue
